Simple. Hold the Dominion parade at 9am, followed by a Christmas parade at 10am. See which draws more participants and the bigger crowd.

Manassas is still listed as having a Christmas Parade:

65th Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade

Last time we went to this parade however, there was a significant hispanic contingent who were danging wildly and dressed in rather spooky costuming, kind of like a “day of the dead” festival (I know the actual day of the dead is at the end of October). It made it kind of creepy for the little kids.

What would happen if the sponsors threw a parade and NO ONE lined the streets to watch it?

Then watch the local store scream to high heaven to the powers-that-be when no throngs watch the parade and drop in to this store or that restaurant to spend some bucks.
