Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has yet to say much about the controversy that currently is making his 20th NFL season one to forget. But he has apologized to his teammates for the distraction, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.
Per Mort, Favre also said that he plans to play "lights out tonight."
History says that he could. Peter King of SI.com points out in his Monday Morning Quarterback column that Favre has indeed played "lights out" when facing extreme personal situations.
Nearly seven years ago, Favre had the game of his life the day after his father suddenly died. Last year, Favre was constantly booed at Lambeau Field but nevertheless picked apart the Packers.

According to ESPN, the woman he “harassed” was hired because of her skimpy attire and large bosom. Not that she deserved it, I mean....

I suppose I shouldn’t admit that my estimation of the woman involved in the NYJ situation changed when it turned out she wasn’t the one complaining and didn’t even care...but a bunch of “nags” as Rush calls em were the offended party...

Based upon the pics the woman has published of herself, I’d say the only way you could harass this broad is to ask her to put her clothes back on. Brett is a married man, so if he did pursue this woman, he should be ashamed of himself. That said, I don’t believe he did — and if he did, I would wager it as in response to an RSVP.

It is really a stretch to make much out of this when the recipient of the emails doesn’t care and some creepy third party sold them for a lot of money.

I just find it amusing that the NY media picked this week to dust the story off. It is years old and has been reported before.
