My husband and I paid into Social Security for a total of 60 years. The US Gov. is treating us as if we are taking their money. How dare they treat us as dependents, we were the contributers.
Exactly. I am sick of people referring to SS and Medicare as unfunded liabilities... we funded it — they spent and stole it... now they owe us our money.
