Isn’t M1 Carbine ammo very difficult to come by??
You can find it on a regular basis as reloads, new is hard to find. Reloads go for $200-$250 for a case of 500 rounds.
Not really. Cheaper than Dirt has it for less than 50 cents a round. They had (currently out of stock) a 500 round box of it for about $210. Currently, the cheapest I can find the milsurp .30-06 for my Garand is exactly 50 cents a round not including shipping, from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
They still make .30 carbine ammo in quantity. On average it costs about as much as bigger handgun ammo. Gun show trips for bulk ammo are highly recommended.
Nope. Cheaper than Dirt catalog has Russion made .30 carbine in bulk now.
