No they are carbines.

Getting mixed reports. When I first heard about this issue a month or two ago, it was M1 Garands. Now I see both Garand and Carbine, or Carbine alone. Not sure whose reporting is correct.

Yep...and if I remember correctly Senator Diane Fienstein’s husband had ties with the chinese and was the one importing the AK-47 look alikes that Diane is so fond of holding up at press conferances and calling for more gun control legislation.....ya just gotta love the lunacy of the left/s

You are correct. Wang Jun(a Chinese arms dealer and military officer) met with clintoon just after the assault weapon ban was passed. I would assume that a significant campaign donation or bribe was paid and clintoon gave him an exemption to the ban and allowed a boat load of them to come in.

One of my favorite questions to clintoon supporters is “Why did clintoon meet with Wang Jun in the White House?” Of course they don’t have a clue.
