It's also an up and coming country if they can keep the Leftist scum out of power. I understand that Chile now has the 3rd highest standard of living in the Western Hemisphere (behind US & Canada). They are on the verge of becoming a First World Country if they are not already. There are still a few pockets of poverty, but Chile has left all the other South American countries in the dust in terms of economic development. They still have a scum bag left who are trying their best to screw things up but hopefully they can solve this problem.

Think about the many, many disasters to which America has responded with dollars, manpower and equipment all over the world. I have never heard of a thank you coming from any of these nations.

But that's OK. Responding is our American heritage, to reach out to our brothers and sisters in time of great need. We never do it for the thanks or for reward - but because we were needed. That is one of the great differences between this nation and others. This is what exceptionalism is all about.

By his absence you can see how little regard Obama has for US industry and technology. He lives up in his head and has no idea what it takes to make America work.
Obama will go to photo-ops at industries but it comes to a real life situation he is no were to be found
