Chilean mine rescue was made in America! But you can't tell this from the TV coverage

I see little credit given to Americans in this rescue

Who drilled through the rock in record time to rescue the miners? Two Pennsylvania companies get the credit. Center Rock in Berlin, PA makes the drill bits. Schramm (from PA) makes the drilling machine. This is all high tech, cutting edge stuff! Experienced Americans operated the drilling machinery. The drill operator was in Afghanistan drilling water wells for the military when he was told to fly immediately to Chile. UPS shipped a lot of the drill items for free. This is America at its best yet I see no one giving credit to the Americans involved

Fox pretty much credited and interviewed the Americans involved. The video images right now are centered on the locals awaiting the beginning of the rescue operation.

NO, that the Chile flag. The Texas flag has the blue stripe run from top to bottom. The Chilean flag blue stripe stops mid way! Though it resembles the Texas flag a bit!

The Chileans like us (or they did before Obama) and I think they’re aware. I have also seen some local US coverage, for example, in Denver, where many of the team originated. But why is our idiot president not out there encouraging the rescue team, praising US technology, and getting big hugs from the Chileans?

Actually, I know why. It’because he hates Chile, the most capitalist country in LatAm, which is exactly why the US offered them no aid in their major earthquake until a significant number of days had elapsed - enough to be insulting.

I loved the Chilean coup where they ousted the communists and put the in a kick ball stadium and then shot them or put them in a dark prison.This was a model for us all.
