I’m waiting to hear what our new rates are. I should know in November.

Wow... thanks for the heads up on this one, FRiend. We don't have Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, but I'm sure ALL health insurance rates everywhere will be going up substantially because of ObamaCare.

Now that the excrement is hitting the fan, maybe some - just some - of the Obama voters will finally get what we have been screaming about at all those town halls and tea parties...

You will be able to keep the insurance you already have - as long as you auction off your first born:

The state's largest insurer has been approved to raise health premium rates by 41 percent to 47 percent for some of its policies sold to individual buyers, in the largest price hikes yet seen in Connecticut since the adoption of national health care reform. For all of its individual market plans, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has received approval to raise rates by at least 19 percent -- including a range of 30 percent to 44 percent for the brand of plans in the individual market that was most popular in 2009, Century Preferred.

The reason for the increases is the new federal health reform mandates, according to Anthem and the state Department of Insurance, which is defending its approval against charges by Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. Those reforms took effect Sept. 23.

"The reason for the increases is the new federal health reform mandates..."B-b-b-b-but President said our insurance costs would go down if we passed his reform bill.

Obama said a lot of things to get the bill passed. Anyone who believed this charlatan when he said Republicans were lying about the effects of this bill deserves whatever they get from Obamacare. And now the only thing standing between us and this titanic boondoggle is probably the Supreme Court - a prospect that does not fill one with confidence.

And a bare majority want this mess repealed.

b-b-b-b-but Nov. 2 is coming very soon.

The buyer’s remorse of the 2008 electopn will go up exponentially with these new premiums.

From now on, each and every non-leftist candidate for every Connecticut political office must mention this over and over again to all Connecticut voters all the way through November 2!

Maybe we need a class-action lawsuit against Congress and Obama for false advertising?

I think that if politicians were financially liable if their claims are not true, we’d get more trustworthy politicians...

...or at least, more politicians that were a destitute, penniless, and thus powerless after a few ‘mistakes’.

We were just informed that our 2011 rates would be going up, with approximately 1/3 of the cost directly due to healthcare “reform.” REPEAL THIS DISASTER!

Seriously?? Wow. Now there's an unreported issue!

Linda’s main problem is that she speaks with a Texas accent, and Connecticut Nutmeggars are bigots against non-New Englanders.
