You go to a prestigious school, pay $100,000-$200,000 and 85 percent of the graduates can't find a job. So they move back in with mom and dad to sponge of them for another indefinite period.
I don't know about you kids, but I'd feel I'd been screwed by academia and indebted myself to the max for a piece of paper with an embossed seal! That doesn't sound to smart to me, but on the bright side — given the state of education and the teacher's unions — you probably can't read it anyway because it's got like, you know, words and stuff on it.
