Palin rallies GOP in Fla., says time to dig deep

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin speaks to supporters at a Republican National Committee rally in Orlando, Fla., Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010

The momentum of the midterm elections is with the GOP, but now is not the time for supporters to let up, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin told a jubilant crowd of Florida Republicans on Saturday.

"Now is the time to dig deep," Palin said with 10 days to go until the elections. Hundreds of Republicans with "Fire Pelosi" and "Listen to Me!" signs clapped, hooted and waved American flags in the ballroom of an Orlando hotel near Walt Disney World. The gathering was cast as a fundraising rally but had the feel of a county fair.

Palin took aim at President Barack Obama, saying he needed to apologize to the 14.8 million people unemployed in the U.S.

"You know, the president is now telling us that we're not thinking straight because of all the fear and frustration," Palin said. "You know Mr. President, you have it right on one point there. We are afraid, knowing that your economic policies are driving us off a cliff."

Appearing with Palin were top GOP fundraisers, Republican national committee members and conservative activists such as anti-tax advocate Grover Norquist. The former Alaska governor also was joined by Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio.

Yes! She always photographs beautifully.
NOT wondering why.

Post a complete video link when you have one. I caught just a few one liners about use of stimulus money before Fox went to commercial: “I didn’t know Mickey [Mouse] had a drinking problem.” And something about building tunnels for turtles in Tampa.

Let them keep hiding and acting like the cowardly RINO wimps that they truly *are*
I’m happy about it.
We’re seeing the backstabbers too.

She makes him better, but she can’t babysit...lol.
She’s impressive beyond words. Just thinking about the miles and work she’s packed-in to this past week alone would tire anyone else, but she’s determined to put our country back on its rightful conservative course and to win big in November.

There are thirty posts in this thread as I post a reply . You have fifteen of them. I understand that you’re a fan of Palin but you seem to spam every thread related to her with breathless cheerleading and sycophantic drivel. I have nothing against Sarah Palin and I’m genuinely interested in reading a thread about her latest speech. Unfortunately, I end up just backing out of most of these threads because of the crappy spamfest of adulation posts. Do you think that you can consolidate all of that admiration into one large post and let the thread take on a life of it’s own?

Palin threads are not required reading on FR. You can certainly go elsewhere if they are not to your liking. But for those who are her cheerleaders, these threads give them a way to hopefully energize others on her travels and speeches. The great thing about FR is that there are so many other conservative topics and news items you can browse — no need to single out Onyx’s threads; let those who post here enjoy them.

onyx, I like your enthusiasm. And I appreciate your pings to threads relating to news of Sarah.

IoCaster-no one forces you to read ANY posting. If you don't like one, don't read it for heaven's sake.

And btw, I hope I never see another smarmy post like yours. Things are bad enough out here in America without an ugly and uncalled for creepy post like yours. Had I known who you were, I certainly would have skipped reading that pre-school ugliness.

I reply to comments and posts made to me. To do otherwise would be rude and I am not given to rudeness. Apparently that’s difficult for you to comprehend. This is a friendly forum where the vast majority of us arefriends.

Sarah Palin threads are particularly friendly and we use them to “communicate” with one another. Perhaps you noticed her Ping List was pinged, by me, and that I also posted this particular article?

That you back out of her threads is your own problem, not mine. It’s very simple to scroll past the posts that annoy you. I’m not going to change my posting to suit you. LOL.
