Well I don’t mean to sound so negative. It’s just dispiriting when combined with what’s going on with Alaska’s Joe Miller....I strongly suspect the Blue Blood GOP is as much behind the Miller thing as they are against O’Donnell. They’re hurting O’Donnell more by tacitly ignoring her and I’ll never get this thing with no polls on this race.
I also don’t understand why Coons has refused any further debates.
As for that flap at the law school, folks that thing really hurt her. Of course she was right, she knew she was right as she sprung the trap on Coons. It’s not fair but it’s one of those things the libs use, their stupid base, to change the truth. Not that Karl Rove or any other pundits have jumped to defend her. Kudos to Levin and Rush though. If COD wins this thing it will as much on them as anybody.
I’ll hazard a guess that polling in Delaware would have to be based on “likely” voters. Delaware Wilmington voters are notorious for not voting unless picked up and given a pack of cigs. The polls would be very skewed as to the ending reality depending on how good the Dems are at getting the unions to transport the lazy welfare class of the Philly suburbs.
I don’t think they want to announce the polls cause I think they think the REAL result of this election will in no way reflect the poll result. There probably won’t be a 20% lead as a poll of “registered:” voters might be and there probably won’t be a win by 10% up for O’Donnell, as polls for “likely” voters might be reading.
BTW, Sarah Palin’s coming to Delaware next Sunday I think and that will be a much needed boost for COD.
I thought I did see a poll that put her down single digits? Also, I took it as a good sign that ‘The Taxman’ was knuckling on the upper-bracket Bush tax cuts.
Thank God for Sarah!
The media has tried their best to turn the Church and State thing against Christine, but even the Wash Po had to change their story on the thing.
I’m seeing a lot of talk about it on Facebook, where people are getting a lesson about what’s in the Constitution versus the common wisdom abut it.
Christine may just surprise everybody. Man up, Fishtalk.
I still remember watching MSNBC as some reporter stood outside the Supreme Court building, reading the text of the Bush-Gore decision. At first she thought it was in Gore's favor, and then as she read more of the statement and realized that Bush won, her expression changed from happy-face to frowny-face. Sort of like Tim Russert doing an impartial interview with a Republican.
There is still enough time for voters in Delaware to realize that O'Donnell was right. And when they realize that, who to vote for becomes an easier decision.
