Opening story on (un)reliable sources is the Juan story. Clarance Page says NPR goofed and then said Fox jumped on NPR.
Terence Smith claims Juan statement was “reprehensible”; Howie corrects Smith’s statement. Smith also believes NPR acted badly and his firing was unfortunate. SE Cupp (who I love) says that what Juan said was not reprehensible or awful...she said that NPR made it the story, not Juan, and NPR killed themselves with their action. I completely agree.
This Terrence Smith character is a real nut case, he quotes NPRs standard but then never addresses the complete double standard with NPR maintaining Nina, Cokie, etc. Smith is from PBS, by the way.
