Just checked the weather forecast for Delaware for Election Day. The high is only supposed to be 54, so how many of the old and poor (who generally lean left) will be willing to go out and stand in the cold to cast their vote, or would they prefer to stay at home and watch The View and Oprah?

If the national pollsters are to be believed, it would appear that older Americans are leaning hard right, not left. At any rate...offer to take some old folks to the polling place...anything to increase the legal voters.

It really is all about turnout.

54 is nothing. 54 degrees is a mild November day along and north of the OH Riv and the Mason-Dixon line.

If there is sunshine, that is wonderful weather for being outside, won't keep anyone home. We hit 58 today and it was so nice. 58 with rain, that's another matter.

Better hope for something else to discourage them.

54 isn’t that cold for Delaware. The schmuck vote won’t stay away because of the weather.
