If there’s anything that could save Harry Reid from getting ousted by Sharron Angle on Tuesday, it would be his campaign’s ability to run a competitive ground game: tight coordination of precinct canvassing, disciplined phone banking, targeted literature distribution, quality control over hundreds of volunteers and—above all—clean, up-to-date voter lists.
Based on what I saw yesterday at Democratic Party headquarters in Las Vegas, it’s not happening for Harry Reid. Here is how Sharron Angle's field campaign works. Their telephones link up to a Republican voter database. Once a phonebanker has made a contact, she punches a number on the keypad to report whether the person has voted already, how they intend to vote, whether it's a wrong number or a hang-up. This updates the database in real time. After you disconnect, the phone autodials a new number.
In one hour at Angle HQ, I made 87 phone calls. If I talked to someone who already voted or who told me to "suck off" (true story!), I pressed a button and they were removed from the bank.
The Reid campaign tracks phonebank results by hand. On paper.

I just had a call a little while ago from a campaign for Brad Ellseworth here in Indy. They called me an independent? Note: I’ve been a registered R since I started voting. The reason for that is simple. I was a conservative since before the egg and the sperm had their little dance.
Anyway... This guy asked me if I wanted to support Ellseworth to keep the Obama agenda alive. My response? Um.... NO W A Y!
He said thank you and hung up. Another call comes in. hello, is this Fred? (my names not Fred). No, this isn’t Fred. Oh is this .... Yes I say. Sorry, wrong number. Then a third call ones in. Hello, Fred?

The writer of this article is a dimwit. The reason his phone bank operation is a mess is because he and his thugs are spending THEIR time COMMITTING VOTER FRAUD. Why make telephone calls when u can RIG voting machines?
I’m beginning to think Reid is a stain you can’t wash out or clean up. He almost lost before. It was the proud voters who actually took the time to go the polls and boldly cast a vote for NONE OF THE ABOVE that allowed Reid to win. I’m sure he’s counting on that again.

I heard earlier tonight on Fox that Reid had the more high tech setup. I hope this is true.

I had a call a couple days ago from the democrats urging me to vote early. "Why,"I asked. Got the run-around. "How does it benefit you if I vote early," I asked? Again, the run-around. Clearly this is going nowhere, so I brought to the attention of the caller that, by making these calls, he was employed on Satan's assembly line.
That resulted in a polite "thank you" and a hang up.
Still not sure how me voting early can help them.
That’s how they can keep track of how many dead people have to vote for their candidate to win and give them the time to do it.
