Are they referring to the same recent synod that called for Israel to end its occupation of “Arab lands,” noting that all of what we define currently as Israel is “Arab land.”
Which added that: “The Holy Scriptures cannot be used to justify the return of Jews to Israel and the displacement of the Palestinians, to justify the occupation by Israel of Palestinian lands,”
This should be an answer to anyone who believes Islam hates us because we support Israel. That everything would be nice and peaceful if we were “even handed” or anti Israel.
The lesson here is that they hate and want to kill Christians and Jews who support Israel.
And that they hate and want to kill Christian and Jews who don’t support Israel.
They hate us either way- might as well support Israel.

Why do you say that a synod highly critical of Islam was trying to curry favor with Islam by also criticizing Jews? Israel uses false biblical pretext to force Christians from their ancestral lands.

The synod was put on by Middle Eastern Christians, including Palestinians. Many Westerners support Israel for geopolitical reasons, but why should you expect Palestinian Christians to support their own displacement?
