As a conservative Kalifornian, all I can say is WASS! CA going to go bankrupt shortly and no one is going to care. Lots of really stupid people here in CA, some of whom are friends. Go figure...

California gets what it deserves. How uttery stupid. Same with New York.

Jerry Brown? Talk about fruits and nuts. The guy truly is a mental case. If nothing else, California will be entertaining to watch over the next few years. What morons.

Whoever is governor of California is going to have
to take extraordinary measures to pull the state back
from bankruptcy.

Maybe the people will accept it better if it comes from Brown
(who will have to deal with the unions) than from a Republican. In any case, it’s no prize...

I think most of the conservatives have already left, Same with Massachusetts. I know that here is MA well over 35,000 registered Republicans have left the state and that tally is from two years ago. I can't imagine how many have left since then.

As these are the people who do the work and pay the taxes it no surprise they've left. At one point all you have is the few stubborn conservatives in the state and millions of whining idiots holding their hands out.

Pathetic. What will NY, CA or my own state do? They really have screwed themselves royally. Deval Patrick has been drooling over the so called ‘ dream act ‘ for some time. Now that he has won he'll get that passed. In case you are unfamiliar with the Dream Act this gives illegal immigrants free tuition to state colleges. Can you imagine the tidal wave of illegals arriving in my state? Thats just the tip of the iceberg.

From Adams, Revere and Hancock to Frank, Patrick and Coakley. Its just so damned sad to see my own state die.

I suspect Prop 19 won pretty solidly.

Shockingly, the last polls before the election showed it going down to defeat. We'll see.

Yes, and anyone who votes to give them a bailout should be on the next list to go. Ridiculous.

Not so fast, I’m watching the numbers come in and they show Gov tied and Boxer down. They may be relying too much on exit polls and past trends..

Don’t give up on these yet.

I don't see this called yet anywhere but on this thread.

If CA votes Brown as Governor, the state needs to be left to self destruct.

Good people will pick up the pieces that work later on, and for the rest, it won't be pretty, but the reds will be dealt with.

Pathetic. Hope they don’t come begging for dollars when the state goes bankrupt. It was infuriating that “stimulus” dollars went to prop up states with democrat leaders, but those days are gone and if CA hasn’t woken up after the last 2 years, they are hopeless. I am sorry for the few people that have some common sense that remain.

Fox just showed Fiorina ahead of Boxer by 3K+ points and Brown/Whitman tied at 47%.
