This is patently unConstitutional.

It's colossally stupid, sure, but I don't know what part of the U.S. or California Constitutions it violates.

Can a governmental unit prohibit anyone from selling something that is legal? Is a happy meal toy in the same category as a controlled substance?

What about Snickers bars? What about T-bone steaks? How about ice cream sundaes sold to children?

Tell me how this decision cannot be viewed as arbitrary or capricious?

That’s the rub, isn’t it.

How could a document like the Constitution address every damn blithering and inane diktat from the government.

They did not foresee the discarding of common sense by our Nannyists.

What does it violate; some sense of free commerce, and common sense, a rational reasonability or vice versa.

Heck, just on this issue, imagine the brouhaha if McD’s had included a toy or squirt gun or somesuch.

The precedent was set. Now, they’re gonna work on the food in McD’s.

On the bright side, McRib is back!
