I know, you think you’ve taken “your country back” with this election — and of course you have always thought it was yours for the taking, cuz that’s what we white folks are bred to believe, that it’s ours, and how dare anyone else say otherwise — but you are wrong.
You have won a small battle in a larger war the meaning of which you do not remotely understand.
‘Cuz there is nothing even slightly original about you.
There have always been those who wanted to take the country back.
There were those who, in past years, wanted to take the country back to a time of enslavement and indentured servitude.
But they lost.

Not sure what to believe on Wikipedia, but this resume seems to fit.

The author speaks for himself and he might be telling the truth about himself. But is the generalization true for the rest of us?
In the world of my parents that I grew up in there was no concept of white or anything racial in the “we”. It was the born again believers and those we sought to convert. That was the us and them.
I still see that to a large extent. “We” of the Tea Party identify by our value system... the values of the Bible, the Constitution, etc. Race, gender, and other identity group superficialities are irrelevant to those values.
Now this is a guy lindsey gram can work with....
This guy obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Pabst Blue Ribbon is pretty decent beer for its type.
