MSNBC host Keith Olbermann made campaign contributions to two Arizona members of Congress and failed Kentucky Senate candidate Jack Conway ahead of Tuesday’s election — a potential violation of NBC ethics policies.

Olbermann, who acknowledged the contributions in a statement to POLITICO, made the maximum legal donations of $2,400 apiece to Conway and to Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. He donated to the Arizona pair on Oct. 28 — the same day that Grijalva appeared as a guest on Olbermann’s “Countdown” show.

For NBC to do something this drastic it looks like there is more involved than the fact Olbermann made some donations.
NBC may want to change it’s tilt.

In later news, NBC has also suspended MSNBC for its continuing contributions to the democrat party.

It's just an excuse to get rid of the prick without paying the cancellation costs on the contract.

Bingo. He won't be back on.

How many firings does that make for Keith - four? five?

Olbermann is dumb as a stump. I wonder how many envelopes full of cash was passed to some designated dummie runner?

What? Did he hand him a bag of money? What a couple of dopes (RATS)!

I think Comcast has found a technicality with which they can get out of his contract. He is suspended without pay for breaking policy. So, is Comcast truly right-wing and, if so, are they taking aim and picking off their primetime anchors one-by-one and replacing them?

They are basically a Democrat party tool and they have the huevos to suspend someone over donations?

Up is down and down is up.

Probably it was their way to deal with him due to a lack of ratings.

Let’s get behind the REAL REASON why Keith O was suspended ... he’s not bringing in the number of audience they need.

Thing is, neither are any of their other hosts. FNC kills them in every timeslot.

If by right wing you mean they are in business to make money instead of losing money, then yea.

Even a blind person can see that MSNBC’s programming was consting them money. Heck, they could probably make more money changing MSNBC to an all oldies movie channel.

How involved is Microsoft (the MS of MSNBC)or Bill Gates involved with the newtwork. Gates is a big supporter of liberal causes and his money makes Soros look like a piker.

Doesn’t anyone care about how his brother, Rachel Maddow, feels about this? Yeah, neither do I.

Very insensitive of you to forget about his sister, Chris Matthews. I'm sure she's deeply hurt.
