I do get tired of the "he lacks depth" thing as I watch him almost everyday and find this to be untrue. It is said because he repeats himself often and he has big named RINOs on his show. In this day and age if you don't repeat yourself really often if there is a significant point you are trying to get out to the public it will be lost in the shuffle of the incredible amounts of informationa and disinformation that is pumped out daily into the public.
Hannity has also taken down RINO opinions masterfully as of late concerning Palin, other Tea Party candidates and McCain not supporting the Bush Tax cuts to name a few things. He has them on but cuts down their points of views no matter who they are when they expose themselves as the RINOs that they are.
The whole thing "he lacks depth" reminds me of all the liberals who thing that intellectualism is what is important. They always claim their leaders are highly intellectual and that ours are stupid because we do not hem and haw and mask our true intentions behind big words that amount to lies. We tend to speak more plainly and mean what we say. Truth is not nearly as complicated as lies.
It is hard to argue given your premise.
Please note that I am as far from a liberal as you can get. Lightweights are lightweights regardless of on which end of the political spectrum they exist. Ronald Reagan was no lightweight - read his letters and radio scripts. You do not need to be deeply read in political philosophy to be a political thinker of substance - Maggie Thatcher and Reagan were both deep political thinkers. John Bolton is no lightweight. Despite the theatrics, Glenn Beck is no lightweight. The odious and despicable Bill Clinton was no lightweight. Sean Hannity is a lightweight as is Barack Obama. It is as simple as that.
