Actually the Grandview triangle did play a part in my event of about ‘93. We left a Boy Scout Districk office off 435 & Holmes and made the curve on 435 headed north when about a dozen lights appeared behind me chasing something. I slowed and watched and sure enough, lights-out at double my speed a guy who was escaping Grandview jurisdiction blew by followed by 8 to 12 full bubble-gum patrol cars. Eight miles north, he lost it and ended up mired in the median just south of the I-70 junction — and I pulled up just in time to see him spinning his wheels trying to run over the officers approaching his car with guns drawn. Four guys emptied their clips at less then 20 foot range.

Nobody calls it the 3-Trails Crossing, will always be the Triangle. I’ll be traveling through there this evening, hopefully with no such incident.

Did any of them hit the car?
