Our nation should be putting at least one new warship a week into the water. We used to have a much bigger navy and bigger merchant marine.

Now we have a smaller navy that is stretched thin and an almost nonresistant merchant marine. All so that narcissistic politicians can buy our votes with our grand-kids money.

I agree, but until we put at least one new Conservative politician a week into Washington it won’t do much good. The ships are only as good as the Commander-in-Chief and the Congress supporting them.
