If we fail at this, there will only be one outcome: civil war.

*****************

Then I will save my money for food and ammo. It’s been proven repeatedly that elected officials do not listen to us, the people. This entire march on DC (yet again) is a waste of time. “WE” have not failed. Our government has failed us.

See Glen Beck’s rally. See TEA PARTY rallies. See the day we, the people, shut down the phone system in Congress to block immigration reform. “WE” stopped nothing but a corporation who installed a POS phone system. The Congress is still trying to pass this bill on the QT. Just as they did Obamacare, Gov’t Motors Corp, etc.

There is nothing left to do but wait for the other shoe to drop. No more tourist dollars to DC. No more writing, faxing, calling your Rep’s. No more anything but waiting for the Gov’t to show their next hand. We still have a hand to play. It’s called the 2nd Ammendment and we need to use that.

When I can walk around the District of Columbia armed, I might consider a trip to D.C. Until then. No. The irony of that is what infuriates me most.

You can. Criminals do all the time.

You might get harassed by cops or lowlifes. But that's a gut check thing.

What is your freedom worth?

I've pretty much got a measure of what it means to you.

I’ve been to DC a few times, and feel nothing I said or did made any difference. They don’t listen and don’t change, and we need to learn from that.

But I agree that something must be done. It’s been long and expensive trips from Colorado, and fruitless so far. How is this time going to be different from the others?

Wonder what Martin Luther King would have accomplished had he stopped when the Government wouldn’t listen to him either. But he marched on and on until they did...and so did all the citizens who longed to be free. We all should at least have the degree of steadfastness and resolve that these citizens had....what an example!

So no...I do not agree with your remarks that these gatherings do not matter....they have and they will...the elections proved as much and will in the future.

On 11/4/08 all things changed - nothing will ever be the same. Obama & the Left hopes we will be content to continue faxing, e-mailing, calling, and spending our money in D.C. for rallies. It means they can go on ignoring us.

We’ve long since past the time for civil disobedience (of a non-violent nature). However, folks like Glenn Beck keep warning conservatives not to do anything but the SOP. Continuing to do the same things in light of a changed world is naive. When will conservatives wake up to the realization that we aren’t just “in a cycle.”

JouleZ, I understand, I have been there, too. As the author of the piece in reference, I can tell you that the others did work to a degree.

We will reveal the whole plan in a few days to weeks. It is not a rally, it is a protest.
