SAN DIEGO — John Tyner won't be pheasant hunting in South Dakota with his father-in-law any time soon.

Tyner was simultaneously thrown out of San Diego International Airport on Saturday morning for refusing to submit to a security check and threatened with a civil suit and $10,000 fine if he left.

And he got the whole thing on his cell phone. Well, the audio at least.

The 31-year-old Oceanside software programmer was supposed to leave from Lindbergh Field on Saturday morning and until a TSA agent directed him toward one of the recently installed full-body scanners, Tyner seemed to be on his way.

Sadsack cretins like you belong somewhere else lame-boy. You have no regard for the respect due others, as you have no regard for your own integrity.

I see that scene play itself out every time I fly. Absolutely insane.

A strike against passenger molestation will cost them money as well as the destination events. Fewer days spent in hotels, unsold tickets to the Super Bowl and NCAA tournaments, Food logistics will become scrambled. We kicked the British out for less.

These people are unaccountable for their actions. They are bureaucratic aberrations. The federal government needs to be reigned in and these shitheads at TSA and many other alphabet agencies should be sentenced to jobs as muckers.

Patton would profile, and not waste time doing ridiculous security measures on people least likely to be terrorists. And if the profiled passengers complained he would slap them silly. And the man who is the subject of this thread would have high fived Patton as he breezed through security and on to his plane.

Imagine what Patton would do with that complainer?

Patton would be smart enough to realize that the scanners and other so-called security measures (including crotch-grabbing) used by the TSA are all but completely ineffectual.

To qwertypie: Congratulations on your new safer world! Sorry about your freedom, although I doubt you’ll notice that it’s gone...

“”Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against... We’re after power and we mean it... There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted ? and you create a nation of law-breakers ? and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.” (’Atlas Shrugged’ 1957)

This is big government at its best.

Create the problem by letting in lots of mohammedans through an insane immigration policy. Then when the muzzies start taking down airliners, instead of kicking them out, instead impose insane security measures on your own citizenry while going overboard not to give the impression of “profiling” the only people who create the risk. Frisk an 80-year old grandma in a wheelchair; wave on through a young Yemeni or Krapastani.

As Reagan said: Government isn’t the answer; it’s the problem.

Tyner points out that every terrorist act on an airplane has been halted by passengers. "It's time to stop treating passengers like criminals and start treating them as assets," he said.

How right he is.

Good for him. It's well past time for someone to stand up for what is right instead of meekly submitting to this erosion of our freedoms like good little sheeple.

Asked if he thought he looked like a terrorist, Tyner said no. "I'm 6-foot-1, white with short brown hair," he said Saturday night. If he had LOOKED like a terrorist, he would have been waved through without so much as a word. You see, it's OKAY to harass people who DON'T look like terrorists.

Get on any plane while the cleaning crew is on and you’ll see at least one person wearing a head scarf.

When we flew to Vegas this spring, the girl in the third seat brought out her carry on homemade meal...metal fork included. Went right through the screening process...my bottle of water was found, and went in to the trash when they found found it.

What a bunch of sissy whiners.

You know, I'm a 60+ guy. I don't really care so much for myself. I care about it for my country. If some people have to be inconvenienced for security purposes, let's start with the Muslims, and people acting suspiciously. If that doesn't work they we can work on something else.

Two hours later he wrote the whole experience up on his blog

And there went all his credibility.

Blogs are garbage.
