Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- In response to a video of a California man's dispute with airport security officials, the Transportation Security Administration said Monday it tries to be sensitive to individuals, but everyone getting on a flight must be screened.
The video, in which software engineer John Tyner refuses an X-ray scan at the San Diego, California, airport, has sparked a debate over screening procedures.

I have had read the posts to you giving you allot of flak for your personal view on pat downs.
We don’t fly for medical reasons.
But I would like to give my 2cents.
IMO the pat downs are crossing the boundaries of human decency, but not everyone feels that they are.
IMO Calling the pat down sexual assault is way over PC.
If the TSA workers were inserting fingers/tools into vaginas/anus’ or masterbating the passengers without their consent then yeah that is sexual assault.
I think the pat downs should stop.
Anyone with common sense knows if a group wants to terrorize/kill they will find a way.
"Security theater" should make people feel secure, even if they are not. This is worst than that, since not only do we not feel more secure, now we are angry that we are being violated while the "religious" group responsible for 90+% of the security measures may be made exempt.

In that case, we at least know that some Muslims ARE subject to the same security stipulations as the rest of us. Thanks for telling me. Has anyone else seen this? I know it’s only anecdotal, but still — I’d really LIKE to believe this has happened more than ONCE...?

I noticed you posted that image several times. If that was MY daughter being patted down like that, that TSA agent would be out cold in seconds.
Just having a look around at most young women today, the pat down by a fellow lady should not prove to be a problem at all.

If you pee on a TSA agents hand, is that a federal crime?
Can I pick the TSA Agent I want? Say I know there a Hot looking TSA Agent that starts her shift in an hour, can I wait for her? If I tell the agent, I like them gently shaken with a little twist, is that harassment of a federal worker? Or is it prostitution? I am paying her salary for sex. So why can't I ask to get it done properly?

I have been screened through the nakid thing. I don’t fly much anymore but really don’t care that I may be patted down or screened. Who cares? To me it’s like protesting someone sees your cat scan or nakedness in an ER trauma room.
They just want to see your kids junk or feel them up.
