With prop 32 (greenhouse gas initiative), and newly passed props that allow state legislature to raise taxes with simple majority vs. 2/3 previously required, this state is doomed!!

You have it wrong on the latter. The 2/3 requirement to raise taxes is intact. What was dumped was the 2/3 requirement to pass a budget.

Thanks for the clarification. I was going on memory ...usually a mistake. :-)

On the other hand, I suppose, with one-party rule, the legislature and/or the Governor will find many 'creative' ways to increase taxes anyway.
