Oh, I whole heartedly agree about the border, so does most all folks with mexican heritage that live here legaly.It so seems the guy in this article lived in Mexicali Mexico, Came accross legaly at the checkpoint and was enjoying a drive with his girlfriend.Some of the remarks in this thread and the other one posted sunday was quite disgusting, Just sayin.
As far as this particular case goes, IMHO, there is no case.
A test 5 hours after the fact isn't much evidence at all. The cop "smell test" ditto. That's no matter what the "true" facts of the case are.
With witnesses saying that another car was involved, etc. etc., this turns into just another tragic accident. There are two sides to every story ,,, and then there's what really happened.
As a Texan, which has always had a very large and very responsible Mexican-American population from the Alamo forward, you have a more balanced view. In other states that have had a huge influx of illegal Mexicans in a very short time, that balance has been a bit tipped!
