Noon: NASCAR Countdown is under way on ESPN.

11:55 p.m. ET: A champion will be crowned in a few hours as Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick battle for the 2010 Cup Series championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It’s currently 80 degrees under clear skies. Temperatures will fall into the high-60s when the sun goes down with a slight chance for rain throughout the day. Green is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. ET.
