Even if the police have reasonable suspicion, I’m not gonna just let them feel up my children. I’ll do it and they can look thru a one way mirror or something.

If it is your children, there is no reason that the police, TSA, or anyone else should have “reasonable suspicion” of any sort... I think you two are probably within agreement there. I can’t think of any “reasonable” purpose for searching 99.9% of Americans in the manner upon which they currently insist.
The searches themselves aren’t bad. I think that needs to be made clear. The fact that the searches are being applied indiscriminately, on the other hand, absolutely is. (And the fact that they are even considering NOT applying the searches to Muslims whose sensibilities might be harmed is perhaps worst of all...)
