Watching the redistricting at the state level will be as interesting as the federal level in NC. There is an opportunity for the GOP to team up with black democrats to create a lot more black & GOP seats, leaving the Price-Etheridge types unelectable. I wonder if Mel Watt will survive?

Check my reply #81 this thread, to which I’ll add, possibly Mel Watt would go. The problem in NC is that the number one employer in NC is either the State of NC or the federal govt.(like EPA HQ in Research Triangle Park) or quasi-govt. jobs supporting federal policy— as in pharmaceuticals/regulation compliance. When I travel there I am struck by the number of REAL North Carolinians who have been shoved aside by the demoncrat machine. The change in the legislature is however tectonic. They have had enough, and obama put the nail in the coffin. Now for perdue the hen chicken and her pals. But is HAS to be conservative, not RINO or on the tit of the federal govt. Get these cabinet makers and farmers real earning jobs and businesses, support small business. And also get rid of Kay Hagen, whose uncle was FL’s Lawton “walkin asshole” Chiles.
