DeMint’s appearance is here at about 1:18 in the video. He was nicer than I’d have been, and it was disappointing. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it kissing. Maybe flirting.

Hardly anyone in Congress seems to be concerned about liberty anymore.

Thank you for the link to the committee hearing.

I listened to most of it again to see if my memory was in anyway faulty at to the tenor of the hearing.

Unfortunately, it was not, although I will not quibble with your observation that Jum DeMint was flirting rather than kissing.

I do agree with your comment that neither side of the aisle is concerned with liberty - they seemed to concentrate on more funding to bring the TSA's tentacles into all forms of transportation and, thereafter, without a doubt into sports and entertainment venues.
