Ok I grant we don’t know if dad was instructed or volunteered to take off shirt, but that does not change the fact that what looks like a SEVEN year old or younger is being strip searched. I am sorry that is wrong.

Or the dad was just pissed off because his kid may of pitched a fit instead of just complying (I know complying is what us Freepers don't like) and said "Here" (and rips off kid's shirt in anger). I am the father of 4 boys myself and certainly see where you (and everyone else) is coming from. I am sure we all would die defending our children rather than see them hurt.

All we do know is what is listed in the video description.

Before the video started the boy went through a metal detector and didn't set it off but was selected for a pat down. The boy was shy so the TSA couldn't complete the full pat on the young boy. The father tried several times to just hold the boys arms out for the TSA agent but i guess it didn't end up being enough for the guy. I was about 30 ft away so i couldn't hear their conversation if there was any. The enraged father pulled his son shirt off and gave it to the TSA agent to search, thats when this video begins.

The title of this article/video was changed for shock impact value. The kid was not "strip searched" in the true sense of the words. His pant were never removed as far as we can gather.

We don't know if the father was irate at his boy, or at TSA, or all of the above. Even with the best of training I still had a son that cried like crazy when visiting the dentist. He did not pitch a fit, but he sure wanted to. One dentist we used to use stopped letting parents back with their children so we stopped using her, because I wanted to be there if I could help control my son's emotions. But sometimes there is nothing one can do if a child is very scared.

What do I think of all this security crap, well I think we should allow TSA agents to use the brain God gave them and to select people that actually may be dangerous for inspection (ie. Muslim men/women between the ages of 12-99). Grandmas should get a pass and so should the kids.

P.S. I don't fly, I am big pussy to be honest about flying.

I am not flying this holiday season, but my daughter is...twice in and out of Chicago—from what I have read, she will be treated to the new TSA procedures at least once. :(

The irony of this whole situation (which I have heard no one report) is that this administration seems to be GOING EASIER on captured TERRORISTS awaiting trial/being tried, being held, etc. , yet GOING HARDER on LAW ABIDING US CITIZENS....

ok - now explain away the groping of this young boy's privates - and hear the poor kid, as they keep after him, saying “stop it! stop it!”

“. . .e) and said “Here” (and rips off kid's shirt in anger). “

As a point of fact, if the father even came close to touching the child during the process, the TSA would have been all over him for interfering. That is a fact.
