How is it that these ‘new’ techniques are stopping anything more than what was in place earlier? Seems to me that the more recent attempts have involved freight, not passengers. And, when the first was found, it took the international authorities two days and five countries to get it rounded up.
Might be that the better bet is to ensure better handling and inspection of freight?
