How to make Alaska Deep Fry Beer Battered Halibut

Things You’ll Need:

* 2lbs Halibut
* 1c. Pancake mix
* 1 of your favorite beers or 6 of your favorites with one left over for the recipe.
* Oil for deep frying

1.Start drinking the beer but don’t drink the last one.Heat oil to 375 degrees. You can tell when the oil is hot enough when it starts to smoke just a little.Skin the Halibut if not already done. Cut the halibut into 1 and 1/2 inch chucks
2.Combine the pancake mix with the beer. The batter should be slightly thinner than pancake batter.Dip the halibut into the beer batter coating it thoroughly.
3.Carefully add the dipped halibut in a single layer to the hot oil and fry for 3 to 4 minutes or when golden brown.
Halibut cooks quickly, so try not to over do it. Drain on absorbent paper, paper towels or wire rack.Serve with french fried potatoes, plenty of tartar sauce and any beer that might be left. You can also use some malt vinegar to sprinkle over the fish.

Nothing Sarah does will ever be right enough for the elites (of either party).

I agree about it backfiring as we already saw in Nov. and with the dancing show. I know I feel that the media is putting me down when they put Sarah down for things she says and does.

He only wishes he would have thought of such a brilliant idea to showcase *his* candidate... whoever that RINO turns out to be.

I can see it now: "Mike Castle's Deleware"

Guaranteed to cure insomnia!

Me too! I thought the challenge should be the runners for President, Sarah says let’s go on an adventure and have it filmed. All would decline the offer!!!!
Fun show.

>You really believe that if the Obama’s were stooping to the level of trying to have a back and forth with some conservative citizen who didn’t like them and clearly had maturity issues that would be the proper behavior, the proper discipline of someone in the most important office in the world?<
Is this a thinly disguised wish for some royalty to bow to in subservience? Proper behavior, my rosy rear! IMHO, her EXPERIENCE as CinC of Alaska’s Natl. Guard, and having a son on active duty in America’s armed forces is a lot more ready than Obama ever was or will be to be POTUS and CinC.

One thing that stuck with me tonight was Bristol commenting on how she’s learned by the example of her parents’ work ethic. That’s a mighty big clue to her persistence in DWTS.

"commercial fishing"

Kind of thought she over used the pointed reference, but I guess she wanted to make a special point, or something. LOL
