Charlie Blow is exactly one of those race pimps to whom Washington was referring -- a cynical opportunist who has nothing to offer but further picking at scabs.

The fact is, there really is no longer any "debate on race" in this country. The real issues have been settled. All that is left now is leftwing irritability and hate.
