This is the second article of its kind, pitting Huckabee against Palin. Something's up.

Sudden push for the Huckaboob. First Frum, and the WaPo today.

That’s EXACTLY what’s going on. Watch the ‘narrative’ in the MSM.

The left knows that Obama would slaughter Huckabee whereas Palin could have a shot.

I swear I do not understand it. I am supposed to be exactly the Huckabee base, in Huckabee territory. If I didn’t read articles and poll results for him here on FR, I would already have forgotten him.

Huckabee and Palin inhabit largely the same space. Funny, I've never gotten the "naughty librarian" vibe from Huckabee. ;-)

Yeah and Huckabee is encouraged and smitten by the attention. I saw him on Fox ‘n Friends this morning. He’s dying to run.

Huckabee is DOA in the 2012 race. Think pardons/paroles problem.
It amazes me to see the panic set in this early in the Establishment over one single potential candidate. Never has a single person instilled so much fear in the Establishment before, not even Reagan. Can’t wait to witness President Palin’s inaugural address on January 20, 2013.

You’re right about that. Huckabee is not going to inspire Tea Party patriots to work for his election. Dear Lord.

It’s funny they never mention Huck’s “Willie Horton” problem. When the people hear about this Huck will be roadkill.

And indeed, a new Quinnipiac University poll on Monday showed the four of them all huddled between 15 and 19 percent of the vote. Not that I give Q polls any credence, but that shows that the largest portion of the polled voters don't want any of the four "front runners".

While at the doctor’s office yesterday saw him on the View. He seemed real chummy with Joy.

This is just a sophomoric attempt at liberals like Frum and the ComPost to split people on the right, we see righ through this childishness.

Saw the Huckster on Greta’s show last night. Felt like I needed a shower. He just gives me the creeps...

Squish to be sure, a gullible sap on paroles, and the incident with his son is a major red flag for me.
To: onyx
Evengelicals like Palin, but her base is the limited government middle-class. Huck’s base is single issue social Evangelicals. They are not the same group. I think Palin could pick up a good chunk of Huck’s supporters if he didn’t run, but I don’t think it would happen the other way around.
To: onyx
Huckabee would be a bad choice. He has too much baggage. He does a good job as a TV host - but not as POTUS. Almost anybody, however, would do a better job than the present POTUS.
