For my part, I've taken my own children out of the government indoctrination machine. But for six months that our eldest spent in kindergarten, none of our kids have ever stepped foot in a public school.
I think we made the right choice to home school them. Their reading levels are certainly better than their public school peers, and they aren't infected with all of the anti-social conditioning their peers suffer from.
