I once worked at a huge high-tech company that was foreign-owned and one of whose chief officers was openly Marxist.

Question: Why would a chief officer of a big company advocate world government and the abolition of all corporations including his own?

Answer: It's better pay, more job security and less work if you're a chief officer in the Ministry of Telecommunications of a World Government than a chief officer of a privately owned company that has to fend for itself in the free market.

One of the mistakes conservatives always make is in saying that all are equally poor under the various brands of socialism. The reality is that most will be extremely poor while a tiny minority at the top will become extremely wealthy.
