That needs to be pounded into a few heads, again and again.

“For those of you who think Palin quit:

Sarah Palin was the individual most instrumental in orchestrating the greatest GOP triumph in the House and Senate since 1938 and if you include the governorships and state legislatures the greatest triumph since 1898.”

"Good guy. Much more sure of himself now."

Yes he is. He is one to keep an eye on.

I’m such a softie. Sarah with her nephew Matthew (who also has down syndrome) and she tears up a little at the end http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGrXLBIYBa4&feature=player_embedded

Clearly you have an agenda of your own.
First off This is an administrative order AO in 2007 that formed a committee to study and make recommendations regarding addressing climate change now and this caveat was at the end:
“Nothing in this Order is intended to limit or otherwise modify any existing or future statutory or regulatory authority of any state agency”

Just completed the youtube snippet of O’Reily’s interview and I don’t know how clear she has to be but she is very adamant that she is against amnesty. Seems to discount your assertion. I’ll get to the rest later but I’ve seen enough to see that you, like many others, want to take things out of context. Nothing I’ve seen to this point proves anything and certainly doesn’t dissuade me.

You go ahead a drool and slobber. I will wait to see who enters the race.

I am aware people can change, but all this drivel about how she is uber conservative is nonsense.

If she ends up with the nomination, I’ll vote for her because Obama must go.

That’s all.

Then it looks like we’ve narrowed things down. algernonpj is a Ron Paulite. Now we know why he’s embarrassed to come out of the closet.

See post# 385 Eddie.

And your comment concerning questioning his affiliation is spot-on.

What EV didn't tell you, is that he is the chairman of a third party supporting Alan Keyes.

You remember Alan Keyes, right?

Alan Keyes was the crackpot running for Obama's senate seat that came out in support of Reparations for Blacks in order to basically "Buy" the seat.

See here for the details

I also suspect that Ron Paul will support Palin as payback for her support of son Rand. Palin has been masterful in garnering paleo support in much the same way Nixon did by forcefully backing Goldwater in 64.

As a matter of fact (or theory), there was a lot of coverage about Palin being a former Buchanan and Paul supporter. I think she is hawkish on foreign policy, but rooted in realism. She has a libertarian streak in her. She could probably unite the three strands of the Republican party: limited government, foreign policy, social conservatism in a way not seen since Reagan and Lee Atwater’s 88 campaign.

Actually, unlike some of the others here who are not Palin supporters, you are behaving like a troll.

Come out of the closet. There’s no reason for you to be embarrassed by your candidate.

Ron Paul on Sarah Palin:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0709/25109.html

As for soon-to-be departing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Paul dismisses her supporters as “more establishment, conventional Country-Club type of Republicans.”

“I wonder whether she’s energizing the 15-20 year olds,” Paul muses. “That would be a question I would have. Because she doesn’t talk about the Federal Reserve and some of these issues. She doesn’t talk too much about personal liberties, civil liberties, getting rid of drug laws, attacking the war on drugs, punishing people who torture.”

Well, at least Mr. Keyes never supported the Law of the Sea Treaty. In fact, he was part of the Reagan foreign policy team that killed that sovereignty-killing monster back in the Eighties.

So, do you support LOST?

"That is the only support she showed in that order for anything."

The order recommends several steps that the committee should pursue. There are 15 separate points and several of them are far from anything a conservative could support. Her signature was on the EO, so she is on record as supporting the steps it recommends. She also repeated her support for carbon caps in the VP debate with Biden.

I vote for Sarah. As the product of a university environment, I know all too well what her opposition is. The odds are poor. But she is the real deal. Go Sarah!
