I've been discussing this since the Volt was in R&D. CA's electricity generating capacity is maxed out, no coal or nukes plants allowed, and the state is anti-petroleum products. Since the state is bankrupt, how many more windmills can it buy to charge up these silly electric cars? Oh wait, just burn food (ethanol) but it takes 1,700 gallons of water to produce a gallon of ethanol, but there's a water shortage. No problem, build de-salinization plants. Funding? No problem. Raise taxes.

It never ends with these morons.
