More than a quarter of a million classified cables sent from U.S. embassies around the world to Washington have been leaked on the Internet. Despite warnings from the U.S. government that the leaks could put lives at risk, the website WikiLeaks published the files in conjunction with several major international newspapers.

If the NYT says the release of the documents is bad, then my guess is that the documents incriminate the NYT in misleading the public and attempting to rig elections, along with plenty of other people in the media.
If the NYT said the release was a good thing, then I would have been more worried about what is in those documents, and that it would damage our nation.
I still say that knowing how our ‘leaders’ have been really doing their job, and what they really say, will do more good than harm.
I didn't think anyone else had noticed.

The Saudi’s funding Al Qaida is not news. The whole world knows they do it.
The net effect will be to alienate and isolate the United States diplomatically. The Bush “Coalition of the willing” has already been betrayed by the Obama Administration and now they can't even count on the secrecy of the US.
This is going to paralyze cooperation between the US and it's Allies. The net result will be an increase in chaos and anarchy as cooperation between the US and Allies begins to evaporate. This will have a negative impact on the war on terror and ability to present a united front to rouge nations such as Iran, North Korea and other axis of evil countries
I’ve been reading through some of tonite’s leak releases.
In January we arrested a known Iranian Intelligence Agent in California, Reza Sadeqinia, and Obama failed to mention it to the press!!
The cable is from US Embassy london to SecState, informing them the Brits had warned a British National that the Iranaian agent was targeting him, as well.
“Sadeqinia was arrested in California on charges of soliciting murder after he attempted to hire a hitman to kill Iranian-American broadcaster Jamshid Sharmahd.”
This is a bombshell in itself. There is NO MENTION of this guy anywhere on google or Bing until yesterday!!
They also fund the greenies, making sure we don’t develop drill and refine our own energy sources.
I've been able to silence some environmentalists by hinting that they help Arabs by keeping our resources undevelopped. So it's no surprise that this notion of Arab support for the greenies has turned out to be true. But I am surprised that homobama let it leak.

What one knows and what one can prove are two different things.
This was revealed after the war. We might have lost the battle of Midway and would not have shot down Yamamoto's plane if it was known that we had broken the Japanese Naval code. The affect on the war in the Pacific would have been devastating.
Leaking intelligence costs lives and the perpetrators should be treated as the enemy.
It is hard to figure who is behind this. It seems more tearing down America by Obama. Nothing in this appears to be that critical of him. Hillary looks bad but in a way she could look tough to Americans. I don’t think the Clintons are behind this.
My guess is this is Obama and his gang and it is to hurt America.
