I don’t remember any other time in my life, where unemployment figures remained static for six months in a row. This whole thing stinks of CYA disinformation.

Is the fact that the Republicans are going to be in charge of the House causing a more frank addressing of the unemployment figures? I don’t see why it would, but something curious is going on here above and beyond accurate reporting IMO.

None of this makes any sense. Spending is up, incomes and employment are flat, weekly jobless claims are down. Manufacturing is expanding but manufacturing employment is flat. I don’t trust any of the government figures anymore.
