The founder of WikiLeaks last night claimed his life was at risk for exposing government secrets.

In an extraordinary rant, Julian Assange also revealed he would publish classified U.S. files about aliens and unidentified flying objects.

I had forgotten about the insurance policy that Assange has with the mysterious file that supposedly no one can unencrypt.

And there’s no reason to believe that aliens had anything to do with technologies used thousands of years in the past.

The technologies disappeared because societies changed, died out, or collapsed for any number of reasons. In some places the old technologies are still used because they’re still useful. And in many cases the technologies still exist on modern forms using modern tools and power sources.

True enough but I suspect that Christians and Jews would deal with the discovery of alien life far better than most. I suspect muslims would try to co-opt it in some way.

I believe the Vatican has taken the stance that there is no reason to believe that aliens don’t exist somewhere.

Well, he’s really gone and done it now. Threatening the Russians is one thing....they can only kill you. But the aliens are liable to whisk you off to some slave planet, or make a science experiment outta you, if you mess with them!
