We have many schools in North America that teach Wahhabism and/or are Madrassa's. Lots of funding is finding it's way right here on our own soil.
I tend to view Saudi Arabia a bit like Pakistan. In the sense that neither is a wholly trustworthy ally (to put it mildly), but the conventional wisdom has been/is that we dare not let either become a failed state because of the consequences. Pakistan because it has nuclear weapons, Saudi Arabia because of its enormous oil wealth and the consequences to the region if the House of Saud is replaced by something far worse.
