Perhaps so — but our enemies within could (and would) likely take the “if we can run it we’ll ruin it” approach. Even if they couldn’t “win” outright, they’d just destroy it beyond repair so that it could never be repaired — and then depend on time and desperation of the remnants of the people to bring them into power — at least in some areas and regions. They are insidious — they NEVER give up, they never quit. It’s the nature of Communism/Progressivism.
