Parents outraged over finance class reading (NH Conservative Parents Push Back, Liberal Freak Out)
The Union Leader ^ | 12/6/2010 | GREG KWASNIK

BEDFORD – The parents of a Bedford teen are calling for the ouster of school officials who assigned their son a book that refers to Jesus Christ as a "wine-guzzling vagrant and precocious socialist."

"We had almost PhD people letting this fumble through their fingers, and they all said it was grand," said Dennis Taylor, a conservative Christian. "I think there should be a review of these individuals and perhaps some firing done."

Yep, your tax dollars at work.

Go to your next school board meeting or ask to monitor a class or 3 at your funded government school in your town.

Not the first time my family left and returned, we had Torries in the clan that went to Canada in 1778,and came back in 1802. Others stayed in NH and are here today including me, for a while.

The damage is far done in my opinion. I have fought enough and in some ways regret it for it allows the communists a safe haven here in the US in other ways I care not, others can pick it up and fight. My family if first.

If the 17th amendment is repealed I would be thrilled but I know I will never see that in my life time.

More and more I’m feeling there is only one solution to this conflict.

*** Well put. It's hard to describe these things without getting suspended or banned... ***

Not top mention a *friendly visit* from the FBI, Secret Service, ATF, DEA, DHS, CIA and an IRS audit for every living relative you have going back to 1954.

And if you're old enough; 'ask' if you were in Dallas on Nov 22, 1963, or in Los Angeles on June 6, 1968.

If it had said this about Mohammed, the book would never have been assigned.

NH is a big blue state, nothing will come of this.

Correct. you get extra credit here if you can attack Christians while doing any academic endevor and doing it with a clenched lower jaw speaking like a Cambridge, Mass John Kerry type.

webpage comment: "It is not up to the school to teach about Jesus Christ, God, or any other religious belief system. That's for the church to teach...Parents aren't doing their kids any favors by censoring their reading materials."

I mean, if you have stupid people like this -- who cannot grasp their own paralogism 'schools can't teach about Christ but a book criticizing Him in an econ class is a-ok herp derp' -- electing school board officials, these people did exactly the right thing to pull this kid out and home school.

I recently had a discussion with a devout Catholic father who hoped his daughter would enter a convent. He thinks at least she’d be safe there when the poop hits the prop.
In the current atmosphere — I doubt it.
Hopefully you will be safe in NZ.

Yes and really for all of us. I agree it is way past time to push hard but how?

I say we all delay sending in our 1040 forms until congress does a few things we suggest.

Thank you. I never thought in my short life I would be considering leaving America with my family but as any good tactician you have to evaluate all options and make plans for the viable ones.

These types of stories really do remind me that communism has won and couple that with Soros and Othugga in the White Hut as _resident, I do fear bad things could occur. No faith in Republicans, Judas Gregg and Juan McPain come to mind. I have seen some serious bad news in Africa and Haiti. Staggering the inhumanity out there and there is just thin veneer here. New Orleans was a warning of things to come.

I would say for every one like you (with an honest plan) there are ten who are saying they’ll stay and fight “when it comes to that,” and who are kidding themselves. Because if nothing so far has been bad enough to start fighting back, they’re just sheeple whining at their keyboards.
Not that there’s much else you CAN do at a keyboard. Folks ought to get their heads out of the internet forums and the boards off their laps, and head out to someplace local where they can talk like sons of liberty — i.e., purposefully.

Schools seem to be confused on their purpose.

Nope, they know exactly what they are doing, the drones may not know why, but they know what.

I agree and I by no means a anarchist or even a revolutionary by any stretch of the definition. Just my experiences are unique and humnan savagery is real. I have been involved all along and will continue to work the issues at the local and state level, but when you look at the landscape or horizon it is ugly. When the boot of the government is upon your neck it is too late. Time to cut away while I can, impact is too late.

See the images of what the TSA is doing at airports and it is the same images from Poland and the Ukraine summer of 1941. It just is plain nuts how far the left has pushed and Americans have been uber compliant.

I have no trust in government, political solutions and little faith in mankind. Those that take from my family, injure the bonds of my family, will have the wrath of my soul upon them. War is savage and no man is safe.

Hence I choose to leave, the thought of it near my family is enough for me to make these plans. Away and left alone is my plan.

I’m pushing in little ways:
trying to barter/trade
shopping thrift stores (NO big stores)
buying ONLY what I need
turning lights off
stocking up on food/supplies
learning to shoot a gun
Wishing all the clerks in stores “Merry Christmas” instead of the seasons stuff.
Took sign to Town Hall meeting, promptly got thrown out...

commenting on as many forums and sharing as many e-mails as I can to let others know they are not alone.

I happen to be a member of a Tea Party..mainly because I wanted my name on a list as support.

Nothing big, but, in my little corner of the world, I do what I can, whenever I can

How’s that “Free State Project” coming along. The leftists have attached themselves like ticks in NH and it’ll take something bigger than a pair of tweezers to get rid of them.

Ohhh please, the FSP is all about what I call the “Out Back Steak House” of politics, No rules, just fun. The FSP is all about legalizing pot, harassing local police over stupid stuff, and un-schooling. FSP is doing real damage to serious home schoolers in NH. I am working over time to delinate real home schooling from those unschooling FSP *hitweeds.

I have yet to meet an FSP’er that doesn’t deserve a muzzle strike. Look up Scot Ridley the ridley report on you tube and you will get a full up dose of FSP ass-jackery in NH. The FSP is the Side Show Bob of politics in NH and the NH Republican party is Crusty the Clown.
