Let’s see, for what should we give him credit? 1. screwed up the invasion of Cuba and thereby ensuring Castro’s permanency. 2. Got the U.S. involved in Vietnam. 3. Nothing on civil rights, was afraid to touch the subject. LBJ should get credit for punching threw the 1964 civil rights act. 4. Well, after screwing up the Cuba invasion, guess we should give him credit for the Cuba blockade and standing down the Soviets. Guess that’s about it. Feel free to add to the list.
