Well, that’s good news if Mr. C decides to keep his day job, LOL. Those guys in Prince William seem to have their act together as far as illegal immigration goes anyway.

I was a real Allen fan when he was governor but whenever he decided to run for the Senate he seemed to be different. Maybe it was watching that pitiful excuse for a campaign he ran. Up until the last election when we got McDonald and Cuccinelli, I was starting to think that there was something wrong with Republicans in VA. They all seemed like they didn’t really want the job, and it was mystifying to watch ordinarily brilliant men turn into idiots when they opened their mouth in public.

Agreed. Allen’s weak conservatism pales in comparison to his poor campaigning; Marshall might actually be too stridently conservative, if such is possible. KC seems to strike the right balance.

Agreed on all your points. From what I remember about the 2006 Senate race is that Allen had a whole new team, he didn’t stick with “kitchen cabinet” that helped him win elections for Gov and the 2000 Senate race. He traded his cabinet for Washington insider hacks that not only gave him poor advice, but damaged his reputation among many Virginia conservatives.

I want KC where he is, for another term if possible. I know he’d be a great Governor but in reality he has much more power and influence as State AG. The PWC conservatives, in particular Bob Marshall, are fantastic. Marshall lost the primary to Gilmore by the mere votes, it was a lost opportunity for the RPV and conservatives across the state. My inclination would be to back Marshall for 2012 against Webb, he’d shred him in a debate.
