The only reason he was elected in the first place was because he had a hugely energized base and a lying-through-their-teeth MSM.
His base is now highly disillusioned and will likely remain so...certainly they won't have the "hate-Bush" energy they had in '08. And the MSM has been neutered by conservative media.
Obama will limp along for the next 2 years. But he won't have the energy to be re-elected.
He obviously has no love for the job, only the perks. As "former-President" he can cruise the party circuit, give speeches to adoring crowds and write books that no one reads but everyone buys. All the adulation and none of the work.
