For the pinglists?
A few typos, but not too bad.
The big typo:
( I am also including a way to block 156,000+ malicious and advertising servers in this tutorial, however you can skip windows instruction number 4 and Mac OS X instruction number 10 if you do not want to do so. )
This is a legit program, Hostsman. We have been using it for years, its free and helps cut down on Windows viruses, privacy issues, and malware.
I’m stuck already ...
I have two fields to fill in under ‘Add Source’
Cameleon
* Site: http://sysctl.org/cameleon/
* Source: http://sysctl.org/cameleon/hosts.win
is the ‘Name’ filed in as Cameleon or the Site entry?
is the File name or URL: the Source entry?
Site and Source doesn’t match the field labels in Add Source
Sorry to be so stupid/.
Very impressive. Thank you very much.

You are quite right,

MVPS Hosts

You need to go pay the nice people at 4chan a visit and bird-dog them to this.
We should put this on the HOME PAGE.
What’s that?
The last two entries say:
Found source with the same address
when I click ok
Could it be these are part of the 5 defaults in blue??
Stuck at Windows #7. I did the Blue Save button ok.
Do I close this Editor?
Cannot find Host Optimizer on Tools or anywhere?
Thanks.
BTTT
p.s. I installed Hostsman 3.2.73 from cnet (c) 1997-2009
on XP Home 2002 SP2 with 1 gig memory Pentium 4, 1.80 GHz
using Firefox 3+
7. Copy and paste the following into the Host names: field, then click the Add button on the right. Now click the blue Save button on the top menu.
OK, now close the editor window.
The main HostsMan window should pop up.
From the main window:
7. GO to Tools-> HostsOptimizer . Make sure the Create Backup box IS ticked. Then click Optimize Hosts button. This can take quite some time depending on the powr of your PC, let it run. A new pop up will come up saying HOsts have been optimized, Click “OK”. Close the HOstsOptimizer Window. MInimize the HostsMan window. You are done.

If these publications want to play footsie with scumbag legal vultures, I don't even want to take a chance of ever giving them a hit. I hope they all dry up and blow away.
Back in the 3 icon window titled “HostsMan” there are 4 menues
File Hosts Tools Help
Under Tools there is:
Options...
HostMan Editor
Flush DNS Cache
Open Hosts Folder
Resolve Host Name...
Hosts Server
Additional Information...
I appear stupider than I am
You didn’t select to install HostsOptimizer during initial installation.
YOu can reinstall hostsman real quick and make sure that all the boxes for components to be installed are selected.
